Google Handbrake. It can rip a DVD movie to an AVI or a few different file formats. I use it for ripping movies to go on my iPod.

Well I d/l Handbrake and it looks like a good program, however I couldn't get it to work at all for me. VisualHub is a Mac program so that is out... any other ideas?

Thanks

David

Granted you'll have to have it ripped first, you should be able to find one that meets your needs here.
