You guys know of any good free online games? I have already downloaded Archlord, Combat Arms, and Silkroad. Warmonger looked pretty cool but i could not play against anyone due to "Package Core version mismatch". I am talking free to download, free to play.

Or, if you know any good free to download offline games, that would be cool too.

Look for Descent Freespace and all the versions of it. It should be free and it's pretty cool. It's old, but cool. You need a joystick though.

Build Your Own Net Dream. Theres a lot of Anime rips on there but the more core crowd still goes on there. My favorite game on there was MLAAS (My Life as A Spy), and HRH (Hedgerow Hall) . Both are discontiued, but MLAAS is still hosted.

Its a very easy language to learn to code in as well. The community is pretty awesome.

Another tid-bit about BYOND that I might add. Its multi-player (all the games are) and they are 2-d.

i have a Dell Dimension 4400 2.0ghz 40gb HD and i just ordered a 1gb ram for and should have it in a few days

That should run it on the lowest settings, but you need a good video card or you can't run it at all. It is a game that's made to show off Nvidia's new onboard physics processor, which if i am not mistaken is only on Nvidia graphics cards that are 9800GTX+ or higher model. The 9800GTX+ is a $200 card. But, then again, they have released the 9800GT so i am not sure exactly. Either way without a decent card you cant run it. However Combat Arms is pretty good and you don't need all that great of a card to run it. And, its completely free to download and play.
