Video Card deal

Newegg has this EVGA GeForce 9600 GSO PCI-E 2.0 card on special with free shipping:

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16814130362

$10 off instantly with promo code EMCBACECB

then a $50 rebate so it comes to about $60 out of pocket.

Also, since the card needs 450W of juice, if you need MORE POWA, you can buy a 500W power supply with it in a package deal on there for a total cost of $149.98 out of pocket then it all comes with $70 in mail in rebates for a net of $79.98 out of pocket.

I'm probably going to buy a cheap ass box and throw all this shit in there and see how it does since my existing computer is a 3.2 Ghz dual core machine with an AGP card.

WACK WACK WACK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Dont buy that peice of shit, you are just gonna waste your money, go spend $100 dollars and you will be up to date. Buy the ATI 3870 X2, it has a higher core clock, more on board memory, a higher memory clock, WAY more stream processors, and if you wanted to you can run true hi-def with the ATI card. PM me if you have any computer questions. Oh yeah and if you do decide to go NVIDIA, go get a 8800, dont just go buy a 9 series because it is newer.

I think the ATI card would take more power to run and end up costing more than $100 but Newegg doesn't seem to show its power requirements. I'm not really interested in being up to date. I am interested in being cheap and just ahead of obsolete with a reasonable amount of performance.
