How did they get 4 GTX280's running in SLI? And in all seriousness, can that cpu really keep up with a similarly clocked intel cpu? Doubt It.

It's no Pentium 2, but it sounds somewhat nice.

maybe I missed your sarcasm, or whatever you were trying to get across. But I highly doubt that amd cpu can keep up with a QX at the same clocks.

Yea, it will be cheaper...but there is no game out that is going to need that much video and RAM power for the next year or 2.

There is no game that NEEDS what my computer has. It will run Crysis on full settings and cost <$1000

Crysis is poorly coded, they took the american motto and just figured people would throw all the best hardware to compensate for their poor code.

A single 8800GTX/Ultra will play Crysis fine at a respectable res/settings. Dual even better, same goes for a GTX260/280/HD4870's. The game is not a good indication of how well a box can run though. Don't get me wrong though, with custom configs and mods the game looks gorgeous.

its actually a very good indication about how nice a computer is. the coding sucks so its more difficult to run than most. but if you must use a different benchmark, how about the DX10 version of FSX on full graphics?
