guess your mad when you buy a computer and the O/s takes up some of your advertised hard drive space too?

14.6 gig or 16 gig... does it really matter at that point? Either way, if you fill it up, you're a dork.

But we're talking about the iPhone. There's a difference. Why would you need 60 gig's of music (or even 16!) on your damn cell phone? That's ridiculous.

I have an iPod for ALL of my music, and I just put my "purchased" music on my iPhone.

Because the key was the iphone is your all in one unit. no need for an ipod with an iphone. you carry one device, for everything.

I'd love to have a PDA/phone/2 mb camera/large mp3 player all in one device, that actually worked well, so that I only had to carry one device.

I already have a 150gig, I was thinking about picking up a 750, or 1TB. The one I have is alright, but it's a few years old, so it's kinda bulky.

I'll get it for you when I get home. I've been burning all of my old CDs from highschool/college to mp3 - I had well over 300 CDs, pluss all the shit I've downloaded over the years

Because the older iPods, and iPod Classic's have an OS that's significantly smaller than the iPhone/iTouch's OS... as such the iPod OS is significantly less functional than the iPhone/iTouch OS.
