WIreless broadband cards.(ATT,Verizon...)

Is it possible to share the connection from one card for two or three puters?

So - cellular is starting to replace dialup as a backup connectivity solution. I've evaluated some of them and was relatively surprised by this company...

http://www.jbmelectronics.com/produc...sm_routers.htm

I know my Cisco brethren will probably flog me for it. Anyway, most of their devices have VPN support, decent firewalls, runs off *nix and just works well and they are not bad priced. Sprint tends to push their products, but IMO it is just a decent product for the money.

When using support, they have highly qualified folks too - I was surprised considering I never heard of the company.

If you can't afford a Cisco product, check that out.

Take care,

My '03 Sold.

yep, I maintained a earthlink dial up account for years for when I had to hit the road. Now I have a sprint wireless broadband card, and it beats the crap out of dial up. Unfortunately it does not work everywhere, but it does work in most places. Just this week I was connected in EVDO mode in my hotel room, laughing at the little sign advertising the hotel's high speed internet service for $10/day. I've also used it to work at home when my cable modem took a shit.

Yes! In Vegas, I had some shitty 15$ a day 125KB max connection. Loaded up my sprint card and maxed out at 325~KB. <3 work paid stuff,.
