People using Firefox 3

There is an add-on called Piclens that lets you enhance your viewing of pictures whether it be on google images or what have you. Check it out. It's working great so far viewing multiple pics of Megan Fox.

the only real problems I had were at first with flash player type stuff. Apparently adblock doesn't like FF3 so I removed adblock and installed adblock plus and it fixed the problem. I haven't experienced anything else.

Same. I've always been fairly anti-firefox, but since I'm limited to using my Linux laptop at the moment I don't really have a choice.

Very VERY cool site man! Great work too!

Also I'm not having any problems with Firefox 3.0 here at home, but at work I've had a lot of crashes.

That's odd.

I haven't had a single crash yet using FireFox 3 Final. No problems with WMP, Flash 9, or Java Runtime Environment. I've always used Mozilla. However, I never use Beta anything over a Windows platform. That was a problem for a lot of people earlier this year. They were using Beta versions of FF3 and instead of reporting bugs, they were crying about crashes.

Beta = In a testing phase (not stable) and will most likely contain bugs = Don't download

I guess common sense is lost on some people.

I hope you're not referring to me. I downloaded FF3 when it was released as live from Firefox. It was fine at first, certainly faster than FF2, but then it started crashing, constantly.

I'm using it on a Intel based MacBook Pro.....I assume you're using a windows version ? It's a completely different animal.

I wasn't referring to you specifically. What I am saying is that it is illogical when people download and use Beta software over any platform and are surprised when it crashes.

It sounds like you were using a Beta version. It crashing and being problematic is normal. That's the common sense part I was alluding to.

If you download the Final (stable) release you will probably not have any issues. That is also providing you have Java Runtime Environment updated on your computer as well.

Not deliberately trying to sound like a dick here, but I've been in IT for quite a while now. It always annoys me when people are upset or even surprised when Beta software crashes or has compatibility issues. It's just made available for testing purposes and sometimes to specifically to collect additional data and feedback. Beta software is rarely stable.

I've also been in IT/Networking for "quite a while now". I know the difference between live and beta. Since Mozilla is the one that sent me the email to download the app on June 17 for the MAC I figured that would be enough to tell me that they released the software. I waited two weeks and then downloaded it. It constantly crashed on Java heavy applications, most notably yahoo games. I reverted back to 2.0.0.15 and then to 2.0.0.16 as of today..... no crashes at all, it is however noticeably slower.

I've been a part of many beta's, both as a user and as a vendor.....I am well aware of the process.

FireFox 3.0.1 was released this morning. It contains a wide array of bug fixes and security updates for Windows and Linux.
