better sound quality out of my camera

Looking for help here. Some reason the sound I get when recording a video just plain sucks ass. Sounds like to much air is hitting the camera or something. Is there any advice you can give me.

Camera I have is this http://www.digitalcamerainfo.com/con...view-16295.htm

Now I have an old school Kodak easy share DX6340 and I just compared it and the sound is way better. Now I might just switch to it. But I would like my newer camera to get a better sound. Any advice? Now I have no mess with any setting on either cameras.

well it looks like the microphone is in the body chassis. My only suggestion would be to put get some of the stick on weatherstripping from the hardware store that is very pourus foam, and then use a small drill bit to make some holes on the adhesive side and attach it over those mic holes. That way the mic will receive the audio through the foam which will prevent the wind/air from interfering with the audio and still remain attached, and you could trim it to not look so terrible.
