I hate Toshiba laptops, i've been working on my dad's for the last 3 - 4 days and this thing and it Atheros wireless card are the biggest POS in the world. Also their site sucks for updates and lack of information. (BTW, why in the world would you put a small switch on the side of your laptop to disable the wireless card? why don't you put it in the BIOS like all others do )

My Sony Vaio has the same thing. WLAN switch right on the case and I've turned it off many times inadvertently. And I paid a lot of money for this laptop.

Most have FN+ something key to turn off the wireless, either way Atheros wireless cards are crap.
