Anyone use Limewire?

People keep telling me good things about Limewire and how you can easily transfer the mp3's to your itunes. Anyone use this or know if it's legit?

Leah has been using it for a while too.. The only downside is that some of the files are no good (song ends abruptly, etc.) but it isn't a big issue.

I've been using it for about 6 years now. Just pay the $20 for the year subscription and it's well worth it. I've got over 7600 songs that I've downloaded off of it and from time to time I get a bad song but 9 times out of 10 you can just download another one.

Over five thousand years ago, Moses said to the children of Israel, "Pick up your shovel, mount your asses and camels, and I will lead you to the Promised Land." Nearly 75 years ago, Roosevelt said,"Lay down your shovels, sit on your asses, and light up a camel, this is the Promised Land." Now Obama has stolen your shovel..., taxed your asses, raised the price of camels and mortgaged the Promised Land!

I used to use Limewire, but switched to UTorrent. I use Isohunt.com as the bit-torrent tracker and most titles there are the entire CD with album art, etc. I have not had ONE single contaminated file. Definitely badass!

I believe mine is set to sharing, I just can't copy the shared files folder to my computer to copy to itunes. Can't figure out what I'm doing wrong

Thanks captain obvious. I use limewire/itunes all the time. You should be able to store them all in a central location and then just drag and drop the files into the window on Itunes. Make sure they are mp3 formatted though.

lol... there is so much shitty music out today... use limewire as a tool. download/try out new songs. if you like the music a lot, go to the store and buy the CD. if the band/artist sucks, just download the one single...

about the itunes thing, there is no "i-tunes format" you are just kinda putting abunch of short cuts onto a music managing program. dont make it more complicated than it is... exit limewire. make sure the program is closed and not just minimized. highlight all the songs in the limewire download folder and drag it to the Itunes library. should take about 5 seconds per song to load it and your done.

yup. there's no reason that you shouldn't explore an artist's other ventures. even if it sucks, you can always delete it. i've found so much good shit through discographies...I can't imagine life without them.
