Computer Desks

Hey, I'm looking to buy/build a new computer desk and I'm looking for ideas. I'm leaning more twards a corner piece as I'm using more than one monitor, but a standard type desk is not out of the question. Post up what you've got, and where you got it from. TIA

I like it too, but there's not a whole lotta room to put a second monitor. There was someone on here with a black two "story" desk with a multi monitor setup on it and I can't find that pic anywhere ><

I have a "Jerker" from Ikea.. Google it, and you'll see all kinds of neat configurations people have done to customize theirs..

Mine's pretty basic.. I'll see if I can find a shot.

Yah, I did some googling. Looks pretty cool. Doesn't look like they still sell it though?

Thanks for the pic Frank, where'd you get it from, or did you build it? I'd have to take out the two shelves to the sides of the monitors, it looks like you've got a couple of 19"? I'm running dual 22" widescreens

I got this from IKEA for $300. Comes with a matching file cabinet on rollers.

It is also height adjustable. I've got it low enough that I don't need a keyboard tray. However you can make it higher and buy a separate keyboard tray.

The color of the desk doesn't translate well in this picture but it is called Black Brown. It is basically a very dark brown. IMO it looks great. When I'm done with the office, it will focus around that color. I've still got to install the flooring and paint the walls.

Heres another picture with the filing cabinet.

You can also make the desk much larger if you need to. There are options for cable management too. The Black/Brown color is very common at Ikea so you have lots of options for buying matching bookcases, shelves, etc, etc...

You could make this desk large enough to wrap around an entire room...

I have this desk, but I'm really liking sgt beavis's desk now.

I got mine from staples, it's called Z-Line Gen-X Collection Executive Desk. Don't have any pics of it in my house at the moment but here's the one from staples.com
