I need computer help...

My work computer crapped out, so they sent me another one out here on the road..

Problem with this one is that when I hit the back button on my browser, it simply refreshes the current page and displays it again, rather than going back to the previous page.

Is there a setting in internet options that is not properly set?

Is it doing that for every site? Some sites do that and make you have to hit it two times fast, for me anyways.

x2 It's the revolving ads that update on their own.

some people are like slinkies; they're completely useless, but still bring a smile to your face when you push them down a flight of stairs.

Well, my other laptop didn't do it at all. For instance, if you click on a pic on dfwstangs within a thread, it enlarges it. You can then hit the back button to return to the thread. On my new computer, the back button simply refreshes the page, and continues to show the enlarged pic.

Not sure what it is, but one computer does it, one doesn't.

It is computer specific, for sure.
