Streaming radio, plays games/music/movies, can download games/music/movies, wifi built in for internet access, skype with free psp to psp calls, memory cards are cheap and getting to becoming larger, gps ability as well. Its like a big ass iphone without the touch screen.
Find a wifi connection or t-mobile hotspot and you should have no problems. There are plenty of free wifi hotspots so it shouldn't be too hard to find a spot to jump on. Just know that the flash player is very old and weak so don't expect to be watching many vids.
Looks like I'll be trading in my PSP for a new "slim" psp. Only reason that skype isn't on the older models is because the older models have 32mb ram compared to 64mb in the new models. Faster loading times are always a good thing. Too bad that many many current old school psp owners are now forced to upgrade if we want the skype feature.
just find a wi-fi point, you have to set up with a network hotspot like your wireless router. thats how i did it, cant get a signal at work though, bastards have it locked and i havent been able to bribe them at work to give me the passcode. Haters!
