Barebones Kits

Opinions on this barebones kit and what it includes?

I'm still trying to build a new pc that's better then what I currently have but I'm not wanting anything top of the line. I'm sorta on a tight budget and I'm cutting corners where I can. Wanted to see what you thought about this. I'm trying to get away with building something new for $400-500

Over five thousand years ago, Moses said to the children of Israel, "Pick up your shovel, mount your asses and camels, and I will lead you to the Promised Land." Nearly 75 years ago, Roosevelt said,"Lay down your shovels, sit on your asses, and light up a camel, this is the Promised Land." Now Obama has stolen your shovel..., taxed your asses, raised the price of camels and mortgaged the Promised Land!

It's says comes with 450Watt powersupply 2 ghz processor and a motherboard. You can't use any of your other components from your old computer if your on a budget. I would go with Fry's when they have there special on CPU/motherboard

Is that meant as a question or a statement?

If it's a question then I could reuse the gig of memory that I have to save just a little money since i have DDR memory in my current pc. I'm sure I can also reuse my soundcard if i wanted to as well as my CD/RW.

Anyone have any other recommendations for cpu/mobo combos that don't cost an arm and a leg, as well as any other decent barebones kits?

no new boards use ddr not to mention you can get a gig of ddr2 now for about half of what ddr is going for. Plan on a new box but you can build a new rig for 500 buying all new parts.
