Partitioning Software

Is there a good/usable free program out there to make a NTFS partition on a backup drive? I want to make an image then regular backups.

Thanks,
Bryan

You might have a look at these: Clone Maxx and SelfImage.

You just want to manage partitions? Go to control panel, administrative tools, computer management and use the "disk management" service.

If you want to shrink partitions download bootiting. The download is free. You create a boot disk and boot off of that. The applicaton will come up, exit that. That leaves you in a command window that has disk utilities. The disk utility will allow you to fiddle with partitions. It has worked for me when partition magic failed.

Actually what I want to do is create a partition on my external drive then image my puter as it sits then on a separate partition to make regular backups and such.
