Give me some ideas what may be happening here...

Purchased two more matched sticks of (new PQI)512 memory for my machine to upgrade my RAM capacity... (trying to end up with 1.5G... 3 slots at 512 each)

already had .750G, took out the 256K stick, put in the two new sticks and nada... damn thing won't come up.

took out one 512 stick and all works fine, just won't work when all three sticks are installed. Tried all the different combinations and locations with all four sticks (512, 512, 512, 256,) and three sockets on the motherboard, can't get it to work with over a Gig of RAM.

all slots seem to work fine, and all memory sticks seem to be OK too, me and my "in house" IT guru are at a loss

Specs on the motherboard say it will work with up to 2GB RAM...

Give us some ideas to try.

It's currently running with two sticks of 512 and has one open slot for one more stick, and I have one more stick of 512 and one of 256 just sitting here looking at me... dammit...

See if there is a bios upgrade available for your motherboard.

2x that! Look on the manus site for a FAQ on what styles of memory it will take( 512 512 256, 256 256 256, etc._
