help with EXPLORER

My future mother-in-law who lives in far southeast texas, was asking me about her computer and i can't figure it out. She took her computer to best buy and the GEEK SQUAD put a new mother board in it. Now she has no address bar in her tool bar. I do not know what version of explorer she and can't get that info since she is up here. i have looked all through my menus and what not but can't find any way to turn it on or off! If you know how to do it i would be very appreciative. Thanks in advance.

right click on the tool bar and make sure the address bar option has a check next to it.
