You haven't made any configuration changes pre trying to play the game again? How long did you go without playing it for? I would backup the system and reformat and then reinstall.

Make sure the drivers are up to date. If that doesn't work, un-install and re-install the video drivers.

What card do you have anyway?

It doesn't sound like a video card issue since the game would probably tell you the video card is not compatible or something to that extent. Its kinda hard to explain how you reformat but let me try.

I would first backup all your important data to a secondary drive like a USB HD or a thumb drive.

Then I would use an application to completely wipe the HD clean. There is a couple freeware ones. I will have research to find you one though. I use PC Beginner and it write 1 and 0's to the HD.

Then you will need to locate your Windows cd and reinstall the operating system.

Install drivers and then install your applications.

This is just a quick overview and there are a lot more steps in there. Feel free to pm me with anymore questions.

Do not reformat anything until you make absolutley sure that you have tried the most current drivers for your video card installed. Look on the manufacturers website and compare the driver build numbers to what you haev installed now.

Could be. I am so glad that I kicked Microsoft to the curb.

Have you changed resolution or refresh rates on your monitor/video adapter?
