Any MAMEr's?

I haven't been to DFWStangs in ages but since my last visit I've become an avid classic gamer. Even built my cabinet for the game room complete with every rom from 2600 stuff up through dreamcast and every mame rom available... I'm up to about 16,000 games. I play probably a 100 of them though.

If anyone needs help or has questions of emulation or cab building just let me know.

Do you have any experience with running emulators on a PC?

Over five thousand years ago, Moses said to the children of Israel, "Pick up your shovel, mount your asses and camels, and I will lead you to the Promised Land." Nearly 75 years ago, Roosevelt said,"Lay down your shovels, sit on your asses, and light up a camel, this is the Promised Land." Now Obama has stolen your shovel..., taxed your asses, raised the price of camels and mortgaged the Promised Land!

I would love to have a room dedicated to that.

That is what is in that cabinet.

It's a p4 3.2ghz northwood on an MSI board, 2gb ram, 300gb HD, with an ultimarc ipac controller interface, and a ultimarc arcadevga display card that displays native 15khz (frequency required to run a real arcade monitor).

I've got maybe a 600 bucks wrapped up in the whole thing since most of it was made from spare parts.

What are some of the emulator programs you're using, and where do you find the games? I was thinking about downing a program because I wanted to play some old dreamcast games, but I have no clue where to start.
