Windows XP

How big is windows XP? my C drive says it's 11.64Gb, I think that's a little much, Windows Installer weighs in @ 5.46 Gb alone.....
I may be a lot of things, but a computer whiz I'm not...... It's an old pig of a pc, 20Gig hard drive, and it's like 98% full so any ideas, let me know.
I've already cleaned and defragged a dozen times, ran Defender Pro and got half a Gb, but something is filling it up that won't cleanup or defrag.
I'm trying to get a computer up and running for my kids to use, so don't go busting my chops about how I need to go buy the latest and greatest thing out on the market.

My XP box OS weighs in at 3.42GB. Add in all the other shit I have and it goes all the way to 200+GB. Its helps having 1.5TB (terabyte) 1TB=1000GB. got 2 Seagate 750s from newegg while they were on sale Time to upgrade that 20GB to something more.

DELETE ITEMS IN YOUR TEMP FOLDER!!!

it is hidden. You will have to go to folder options>show hidden folders... then do a search for your temp folder. I hadn't cleaned mine in forever and gained several GIGS worth of space.

Think you need to format/reinstall your OS(XP), read this first.

Yeah, I probably got a couple of terabytes around my house now. One of them is a 1tb SAN/RAID 5...so it's only 700ish usuable gigs.
