is there a way to extend the amount of time before my PC 'locks'?

I have a dual system set up at work and every time I go back to my Windows 2000 PC, it is locked from not using it and says, "this workstation has been locked by user xxxx" Is there any way to extend the amount of time it takes to do that?

Get an administrator to enable it and then change it.

if that's what I have to do, then the actual answer to my problem is "fuck no"

getting an admin to do anything around here is a joke

Alot of companies require this as a policy to meet certain standards like VISA or some others. A computer thats not being used is supposed to be locked so someone cant gain access to your dataz.

they have this device that locks your pc when you're further than 15 ft. and auto unlocks it when you're in range again. you can put it on your keys etc...

it uses its own lock screen. if you pulled the dongle out, it would let you log in manually.
