dumb question about computers

i gotta plead ignorance on this. i cant recall the right term.

i have a few huge files about 160mb total, and i need to transfer them from a computer thats not hooked up to the net to another one with the net. do i use a memory stick for this? its the thing you plug into the usb port.

dumb poster does not realize there is a computer section on the forums


yes, a usb drive will work... of you can use a crossover cable, set your IP and make a lan connection

i have a 128mb flash drive and a 1gb SD memory card with adaptor for a flash drive

i wasnt sure. i want to burn all the songs on my laptop using my friends burner on his comp. i figured using the ethernet was the easiest way instead of setting up through a router.
