Have you tried resetting IE settings?? (Tools -> Internet Options -> Advance-> and select "Reset...") If all else fails, maybe you should try uninstalling IE 7 and see if the links work in IE 6. This could be due to a number of things, but I would try reseting first...

Install it in Firefox. Then either navigate to the page you want to open in IE, or go to Tools->IE Tab Options. Then add the website to the list. Any time you go to that website, it will be in IE under Firefox. No more jacking with IE in a different window.

Works for me.

Just telling the user how to fix the "not compatible with firefox" issue.

actually he posed two problems:

a) his IE was fucked up, and
b) the site isn't compatible with firefox.

although he did say he wanted to know what to do to make it work in IE 7, mr. chambers was simply stating that he didn't have to fuck around with IE7 and could simply add that plugin to firefox to make it work. so dont be a dick.

Looks like a good work around if the reset didn't work and a good option to have around. Don't see the need to flame.

I actually have a use for that plug in to. Netflix allows you to view movies streamed to your computer but the software to view the movie only works with IE not Firefox. Guess I'll have to install this to save me the trouble of opening up IE every time I want to watch an online movie from Netflix.

I'm not flaming and I'm not being a dick, but you DO have every right to make a derogatory comment about me and I understand that. I just think that if someone is posting a problem about IE, the first answer shouldn't be "GO DOWNLOAD FIREFOX, GARWWWRRR!!!!111!!" Like stated above, I am also an avid Firefox user and love it.

Sorry if anyone felt like I was flaming.

I agree. And I'm glad your suggestion helped him out But it's nice to have other options available to you if the original problem can't be resolved. I think the tabbed IE is a good workaround for Firefox and plan on installing it at home.

I will say I have come across a few sites that IE Tab would not work, so it's not the end all answer for IE.
