DVD Burning SW

I have nero Start Smart that came bundled with thsi computer, but I need to burn a DVD in UDF format. There is no option in my nero program to do that. I tried to select ISO, but then the files I need to burn to the DVD will not show up as compatible with Nero.

I am trying to burn a DVD to upgrade the firmware on the LG HD/Blu-Ray DVD player.

Anyone know of a freebie DVD burning program I can download that will burn UDF format disks?

Cool, so I installed IMG Burn, get to the burn a UDF disk, it does it's thing and says the write is complete, byut it has been at %99 for over 5 minutes, saying it is Finalising Disc....

No DVD activity, nothing going on at all. If I hit cancel or the X at the top right, it asks if I am sure I want to cancel the operation. I click it again and it says "Please be patient, I heard you the first time" but it never cancels or quits the session???

WTH is this thing doing???

LOL, had to reboot to get the damn thing to eject, even after I used Task manager to End Task, it was still locked.

This realy sucks, I have now wasted two dual layer DVD's to try and write this fucken update. Guess I need to buy some cheapo DVD's instead so I can waste them!

Two files to update a DVD player. one has a bin extension and one has rom extension. The instrutions say to use UDF format, select the two files and burn the DVD, then put it in the player and it will pull up a menu to upgrade the firmware. I tried to make a data disk with Nero, ut the DVD player rejected that disk and said it was invalid.

I'm afraid to try this one, I don't want to jack up the player and install a half assed update, since it never really finished %100. Both files look like they are on the disk tho.

I think I would go down to Frys and buy a box of 50 single layer DVD +r's for like 15 bucks before wasting even ONE more DL DVD. That would be a more intelligent thing to do.

FUCK Canada
