Help with locking down a WinXP Guest Account..

For content. So I've noticed some downloaded porn on my guest computer at home and I want to lock it down. Running WinXP SP2, IE 6, and Firefox. Wouldn't have even noticed but when I was downloading the latest updates for my ClamWin AV a bunch of video files showed up in the Firefox download window. Wouldn't have figured they showed there??

Anyway, I also noticed some kind of spyware kept popping up that Windows Defender (default install) was trying to remove (can't remember the name off hand). Windows Defender is having problems removing it so I downloaded AdAware and it's running a scan right now.

So IE was locked down with the Parental Controls set pretty high. The video downloads were done through Firefox but it doesn't offer any kind of parental or content control. Any ideas for plugins I can add to Firefox to control site ratings, content, etc.? I might remove Firefox from guest access and let everything be done through IE so it can be controlled.

Also, the guest account should be locked down from installing anything right? I remember I installed a couple of web games on the guest account and I had to log in as admin with a password to install it. Would there be anyway around that? I do not want anything being installed without my permission or knowledge and want to cover all my bases.

Any help would be appreciated.

I used to be huge on the FireFox thing but I don't think its really necessary anymore. The new IE7 has the same features and i don't know about XP but i know on Vista it runs separate from other apps making spy-ware and mal-ware a little less of an issue. Personally i would dump both and get IE7

here is some better info if your interested and I'm sure a link to it since its the MS site

And yes you can set your PC so the guest can basically only have access to programs already installed and the net and anything else must be done by the PCs admin account

Also anything downloaded using FireFox will show in that download box unless the person doing the downloading is smart enough to delete them before closing the box. Deleting the history wont get rid of it

Think you need to format/reinstall your OS(XP), read this first.
