Can I setup a file to open on a certain place on the desktop?

I have a program that I added to my my startup. It opens just fine but it opens in the top left corner and I want it to open on the top right and in vertical display. Its a toolbar for various programs we use at work. It has an option for chaging it from horizontal to vertical. Is there any way I can chage it to open where I want it to or am I just going to have to drag it to where I want it and select the vertical option everytime?

can't you just create a shortcut for it in the vertical toolbar you are using?
