Problem with blueray on PS3

So, here goes, saturday, went and bought 300 on blueray since I wanted to check it out, and figured I might as well get it on blueray since I have the new ps3. I get home, put the disc in, it starts to autoplay, then the tv comes back up as searching for signal, and no signal found, I try it again, this time I hit the home button first then go to videos, it comes up as the disc icon, I try to play it again, same thing. Any ideas, maybe something with the settings in the ps3?

specs on the setup:
ps3, hdmi, samsung 1080p lcd.

I had the exact problem a few weeks ago.. It turned out to be the TV. See of there's a way to reset the tv. Also, this may be the most obvious, but check the cables.

I'll try a reset on the tv when I get home. I unplugged, and replugged the hdmi, and made sure they were sitting all the way in, and not backed out some, hopefully the reset fixes my problem.

I tried reseting the tv, but couldn't really find a way to, I could reset the picture settings, but it still isnt wanting to play, and it's still doing the same thing. I rest the ps3 settings too, still nothing.

See if you can google a hard reset on your tv model. I had to fuck with mine for a while.

Got it working finally, it was the ps3 bd/dvd settings, I just had to turn off the 24hz setting, and now it works great, finally!

I knew it was a setting somewhere. Glad to hear that you got it working.
