Question Recovering Info

Is it possible to recover the "My Documents" folder after a format and new OS instal? If so is there anyone on here capable of this?

PLEASE HELP!

Think you need to format/reinstall your OS(XP), read this first.

You formatted the drive right? No recovery of anything after that.

You can run Hirens Bootcd and it can run recovery software.

you can try but probably not likely and good chance of the data being corrupt/partially overwritten.

A pst file is an outlook file, is that what you were wanting?

Gggrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr!!!!!

I took a leap and tried to put Vista on my puter and it wrecked it. Something about on startup that the BOOTMGR file is missing!

Reformatted and tried to put XP back on and same thing.

Conclusion: Vista FTL!
