Photo/Card recovery software

My wifes friend has a digital camera that she dropped & from that day, the pictures saved on the compact flash card will ONLY show up on camera, if the camera or card is connected to any computer via USB the drive/card shows empty.

Just thought I would ask here if someone has a program to recover pictures from a compact flash card.

If anyone has a program that they can e-mail me or I can download free & be able to save the pictures?

I downloaded a program called card recovery, and it let me search the pictures on the compact flash card(drive) but just preview them. For me to be able to save them I have to purchase a key to unlock it, I am only wanting to get about 3 pictures from this card so I dont want to pay $40 for just that.

Or if there is a diff way someone here can help out let me know. TIA.

-Tony

similar thing happend to a friend. most cameras have internal ram. when his dropped, some how it kicked over to internal ram.. pull out the mem card and see if it still sees the phones on the camera.. that way you will know if its on ram or the flash card.

Its only finding the harddrive.

Do you have the camera plugged up or is it by memory card?
