Anyone use an aircard for their laptop?

I'm thinking about getting one... what type of speeds are you at?

Since I have a sprint phone i'd probably be adding it onto my plan. Are their huge gaps in coverage?

I plan on switching to Cingular in December when my plan is up so that's an option.

It would mainly be for surfing the web and work.

We use Java based programs...

I dont know if the other guys carry it, but I know Verizon has a USB aircard, so you can use it no matter if you have PCMCIA or PCI-E on your laptop.

some people are like slinkies; they're completely useless, but still bring a smile to your face when you push them down a flight of stairs.

I have a Verizon AirCard 595, if I remember right I got like 1.5 down and 700ish up. I was pretty impressed since the old school t-mobile card I had was slow that 33.6 dialup.

My '03 Sold.

I heard the cingular card is slow. I have the sprint card and it works great. Make sure you get the unlimited plan at 59 a month.
