Laptop Bag Suggestions....

I do a lot of consulting work, and usually end up carrying the following...

HP dv8000 - 17 inch laptop
Igo 130 charger with 20 universal tips.
Microsoft wireless laptop mouse
2 portable drive enclosures with power supplies.
IPOD
Digital Camera
a small toolkit
a 24cd case
Treo 700wx

I'm trying to find a backpack/bag that is easy to carry, holds all of this and still will have some additional room for misc stuff.

Right now I have Targus Backpack that just seems too full, and really isn't made for 17 inch laptops.

Any Suggestions?

Ogio makes some of the best durable laptop bags i've ever used.

some people are like slinkies; they're completely useless, but still bring a smile to your face when you push them down a flight of stairs.

They've got a pretty good selection of backpacks at the Apple store. Some of them are really great.

However here is a HUGE list of backpack and briefcase makers. I'm sure you'll find something you like.

I've looked at the Targus XL Backpack online too.

Another issue is I will travel with this case too, so I have to be able to carry it on, minus the tool kit. throw in the ipod, and some magazines, etc.

ive been using one of dells xps type bags for a long time now.. its made for the 17 widescreen. Ive carried:

2x inspiron 9300s
2x full size external drives
a crap load of paper
and misc juke... its heave and no wheels but its not tooo bad.

APC makes some kick ass ones too that have a battery built in for recharging gadgets and laptops.

mine is similar to this http://accessories.us.dell.com/sna/p...9&sku=310-6579

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16834999404

holds my 17"widscreen Satellite, mouse, power cable, Eithernet cable, 6 Game boxes, 24CD case, recovery CD in case, a 500 page hardback book and still has space. although will all that shit its kinda heavy. it also has a cell phone holder on the right strap if you dont keep your phone in your pants

its not the highest quality out there but ive had it 6 months will 0 issues. oly thing is it could use a little more padding on the bottom

I picked up the Targus XL laptop bag, for 49 bucks at Fry's no rebate. it's not the one with wheels and the handle.

So far it holds everything, but it's still a little packed. Might look at the XPS bag later on.
