Laptops for online gaming?

What sort of laptop set up would good for running some newer games? I don't have a list of exact games, but I'm looking at buying a laptop to replace my desktop. I'm thinking something with a Duo Core processor, but I'm not real sure what else I should be looking for as far as a video card goes. I know the more ram the better, but what size processor is decent for the duo cores.

Over five thousand years ago, Moses said to the children of Israel, "Pick up your shovel, mount your asses and camels, and I will lead you to the Promised Land." Nearly 75 years ago, Roosevelt said,"Lay down your shovels, sit on your asses, and light up a camel, this is the Promised Land." Now Obama has stolen your shovel..., taxed your asses, raised the price of camels and mortgaged the Promised Land!

Xps

The Dell XPS can handle just about anything you throw at it. Costs an arm and a leg but definately worth it. Had mine for over 3 years and still runs most games on top quality

This is the one I bought. It is decent enough, runs WoW, BF2, C&C:Generals and a few others. I paid a little less because i got mine awhile back when it was on sale but is still a good price.

ive heard mixed reviews about cyberpower, they have good parts but for some reason they dont seem to work too well together.

But really you would want a intel dual core, with at least gb ram, prolly 2, and id say something like a 7900 mobile video card if you want it to look real good, if you just want it playable then any decent non built in card should work.

95' Red Mustang GT.

Slow.

Thanks, that's a start. I just haven't shopped for a computer in over 6 years, so i'm way out of the loop on things.
