can you piggy back a ups??

i was wanting to do this to extend battery life in case of a power outage
i made a detailed pic of what i am wanting to do

Theres no reason I know of that you couldnt... not sure how much extra run time you would get but it shouldn't hurt anything...

Hmmm, I'd put the weakest one closest to the power outlet just incase when it cuts off it does not briefly stop power to the desktop. Otherwise, I see no reason this can not be done. Seems more sensible to buy 1 bigger UPS, but I figure you've probably come across a deal or something.

IMHO though, these home UPSs are more intended to give you time to do a proper shutdown though. I doubt you're going to be playing Half Life or something for 20 minutes on them.

no it will be used for a restaurant... we are by the lake and we lose power all the damn time and i need to be able to print all open checks and then shut down the system
