I already told you some of this via PM but I am going to post up some info for anyone looking to start a site for a business using your businesses as an example. I hope you don't mind and realize I am not looking to slam you.
Don't mix your businesses sites. I am not going to order my supplements from the same site as my porn. Some people may but you may alienate customers by exposing them to content they deem to be inappropriate.
Internet commerce thrives on impulse buying and convenience. If you have a site that lists supplements you have and prices to purchase but no way to actually purchase I will be going back to google and find a company who does ifI want to order by phone I will have looked in the yellow pages.
Developing an e commerce site is not cheap or very quick. Inventories must be entered, Security must be addressed, and online credit card clearinghouses must be involved.
For a basic site here is an idea of that one can expect to pay for a single site setup and developing on his own.
Domain registration -8.00 to 30.00 a year (prices vary wildly depending on registrar and for good reasons)
Hosting - Hosting can be had for as little as 4.95 a month all the way to 170.00. Be sure you secure a plan that will work for your site/business.
Time - How much is your time worth? It may be fun to build your own site BUT when it is your business it is not a good idea to attempt this on your own if it takes a pro 40 hours, it will take you 120 easy. Can it be done on your own, SURE! Just be prepared to be frustrated. Learn how to get your site to rank in Google, Yahoo, etc. Sites are nice to have but useless without visitors.
Good luck to all no matter what.
