As mentioned above, it extends the desktop so you basically have 1 huge working area.

Very useful for someone who does a bunch of video editing, software development, web development, etc.....

It allows you to display all of your information without switching between screens.

Plus it looks cool!

For those interested, the computer is a Dell Dimension 9200

Intel Core 2 Duo Processor E6700 (4MB L2 Cache,2.66GHz,1066 FSB)

2GB Dual Channel DDR2 SDRAM at 667MHz - 2 DIMMs (Board has 4 DIMM slots)

250GB Serial ATA 3Gb/s Hard Drive (7200RPM) w/DataBurst Cache

256MB nVidia Geforce 7300LE TurboCache Video Card

Dual Drives: 16x DVD-ROM Drive + 16x DVD+/-RW w/ dbl layer write capable

Dual 20 inch E207WFP Widescreen Digital Flat Panel

Windows Vista Business

This thing is quite an improvement over my 6 year old Celeron 1.66ghz!!!

That's funny you said that.

Both of my brothers are level 70. They live, breathe, eat and sleep with that game!

As soon as I showed my brother, he said the same thing. I won't be getting started on something that I know would probably destroy my marriage or career!

It is not a quad core. Dell didn't offer it for the Dimension. Atleast not on their website when I configured it.
