First BSOD with Vista

Glad to know Microsoft left that feature intact. Was trying to authorize myself access to local settings in an attempt to use Outlook again, didn't work out so well.

Box stock HP PC other than the Vista Ultimate upgrade. Could be hardware but it works fine other than no Adobe reader, Outlook not working and Itunes constantly making me read the EULA before loading.

blue screen of death is not always hardware.

Depends on the type of BSOD. If you have debugging enabled, instead of the auto reboot feature, you can usually figure it out. A lot of times it's software...

I have no idea why, but I haven't had hardly any problems at all with Vista. I guess I may not be trying to do as much as others seeing as how I just use it for general purposes.

I think at this point, Vista is best used to day to day functionality, exclusive of webcams, or any other type of hardware that can't be found in every home. Same as XP was when it came out. Notice how XP still sucks, and they're bringing out something new, that sucks just as bad if not worse???

When I see a newer 2000-based OS, I'll upgrade, but XP/Vista both suck, in my opinion.
