Dell Power Supply Upgrades?

I unsuccessfully tried a search for this. Has anyone of you successfully been able to upgrade the power supply in a Dell Optiplex GX280 or similar? I have heard that they may be proprietary and not able to be upgraded with off the shelf power units. I have two Dell 17" ultrascan FP's and I want to get a dual DVI graphics card. Unfortunately, most of them require a minimum power supply rating in excess of what came with my case. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

You don't have to use the PSU that they suggest. PC Power and Cooling PSUs are some of the best on the market IMHO. They're not cheap, but you won't have any problems with them once installed either.

Take care

Thanks for the help. I guess that it would be better just to build my own next time.
