i hate like a motherfucker when people repeatedly use my name in a conversation. I only do it when I'm talking down to someone and i feel like people are doing that to me when they keep repeating my name.

I would have been dropping f bombs like a mothafucka!

OK I guess what I was getting at by posting this is Crucial says one thing, Manu. says another.(Refering to whether or not my memory is dual channel)

Also, Manu originally quoted 160+local tax for a whole 1gig stick of ram. Fuck that! That is why I said "Jesus Christ" and "I don't like being raped". I can get 2gigs from NewEgg or Crucial for less than 180.

If not using their memory would void my warranty, than I have already voided it by installing a Airlink Wireless card in it as soon I as I got it home.On a side note I purchased a warranty through BB that protects me.

I never said anything about being unproffesional or doing anything wrong, just that the price they are asking is rediculous. The whole reason I contacted them is I thought my puter utilized dual channel memory and crucial said different from what I thought and what the manu told me.

Go into your bios. in most cases it will list the ram speed and if its dual or single channel.

BTW, I like your Dell screen name.

Every computer I looked up on Crucial stated that you could dbl the memory over the manu max. Sometimes this works, yes you can put 2gig in but if your pc's max is 1 gig then it will only see 1 gig (if thats its max) or just error.
