This Sprint mobile broadband isn't bad...

i just did a test at "speakeasy", and i'm getting 804kbps down and 140kbps up... that's better than my dsl used to get!

My Cingular 3G laptop card consistently clocks 1.25 to 1.55 down. I am extremely impressed. FYI, the first upgrade to the Cingular 3G network is supposed to be completed by March in the DFW area which will give you 3-4mb down. Can't wait for that to happen and then I can tell Charter where to stick their cable modem.

That damn commercial. It's pretty funny but they are comparing their high speed card to our EDGE card which has been around for almost 5 years. That would be like if Cingular compared the Razr to an old brick phone. Cingular 3G cards usually clock 60-80% faster than Sprints... that's before the network upgrade is completed in the next few months.

Around 4:30-7pm

I was seeing about 800 during peak

and about 1.2 off..

wow that is impressive, i have been having problems with my cable internet, i think i will throw my cable modem in the trash and get a wireless card
