SSL Encryption Error?

Here recently I get an error when I try to log on to MySPace form my home PC that says that there's something outdated with the SSL Encryption, and that I need to download the latest version of IE. I'm running Windows 2000 so I downloaded the IE6 SP2, and it still gives the same error. Nothing changed on my end from when I could log on a couple weeks ago...

a few things you might wanna try is to clear all your temp files, and cache then do a ipconfig /flushdns and then see if it works

Check the time and date on your computer too. Those two things can play hell with SSL.
Screen shot the error or write it down word for word and post it if that doesn't work.

It's been a while since I've jacked with any of that, do you happen to know how to pull up the command prompt in Win 2000?

I set the clock a few days ago, but I dodn't even think to look at the date. I'll take a look tonigh and post up that screenshot if it doesn't clear up.

I came home tonight, tried logging in without changing a thing, and it worked.

You won't have this issue for much longer.. your PC is almost ready.
