Mozilla, IE won't load dfwstangs, aol will

:flamesuit for having aol:

All of a sudden, whenever I try to load dfwstangs on Mozilla, it says operation timed out after about a minute trying to load the site. I tried it on IE and the same thing happened. So I signed on to AOL and tried it on their browser and it works fine. I cleared the cookies and cache just to see if that did anything, but nothing. Any suggestions?

You have a virus... It's called AOL... I'd suggest uninstalling AOL, but you'll need to call AOL tech support to get rid of it completely, as it NEVER removes all the way on it's own. AOL is know for Hijacking browsers. Do a HiJack This! log and post it here...
I can help further from there

I'm somewhat confused. What exactly are you asking me to do? Like I said, Mozilla works on every site BUT this one, same with IE. But for some reason, AOL's browser works.

you need to crack the root lan system of aol.

if you call them, they have this passcode that you can enter the sysadmin of the su account.

from there, you can edit the chmod settings to allow the site.

Are you using the same AOL connection when trying to use Mozilla or IE?

Start > Run > cmd

In the prompt, put in exactly as follows

ipconfig /flushdns

Flushes the DNS cache, might also clear the cookies in each browser, doubt that's it but never hurts to do that...

I have the exact same problem, only I don't have AOL on my computer at all.
I'm at work right now, but at home, my computer will not pull up DFWStangs. It tells me "Page can not be displayed".
This just started about 1 week ago, and I've made no changes to the computer at all.

How do I fix this??

Start > Run > CMD

ipconfig /flushdns

try that and let me know if it's still not working. If it's not working in any browser that will most likely fix it. If it's just one browser that doesn't work, but another one does, clear cache/cookies/TIFs
