Another LCD sale

http://accessories.gateway.com/Acces...ail.htm?seg=hm

The Gateway 21" LCD widescreen display is on sale for $399.

This is more than the Dell display BUT it has ALOT more features. It has a 1000:1 contrast ratio, has an 8ms refresh rate, and can ROTATE 90 degrees.

The best feature however is the number of connectors you get.

• Analog (VGA): 15-pin mini d-sub VGA
• Digital (DVI-D): 24-pin DVD-D (supports 480i, 480p, 720p and 1080i). Includes HDCP (High-bandwidth Digital Content Protection)
• Composite video
• S-Video
• Component Y Pb Pr (supports 480i, 480p, 720p and 1080i)
• AC power input
• USB 2.0 B-type (PC input)
• USB 2.0 A-type (PC input)

Yep, it has Component connectors. Go ahead and hook up your Xbox 260 if you like.

The deal last for two weeks.

Yeah, but dell products don't come in the cow box. Duh, that's what makes them cool.

Several 22" widescreens have come out in the last several weeks at a better price. Viewsonic has one out in the $349 range, Samsung around $399, and Costco has a Sceptre with the best specs of the three for $299 after rebate.

I can get the Gateway 24" for cheaper than that. Last time I checked it was $359

I wasn't aware that Gateway ever made a 24". I have been shopping around for another larger screen for awhile and can't find anything on a Gateway 24" even on their website. Cheapest 24" I have ever seen anywhere is $649 for an Acer. If you do find that somewhere post up a link and I will jump on that.
