Thumbs up HP customer service...

Really suprised but had some issues with my computer and jumped online and talked to a tech person online. Went great..they are shipping me a new power supply without a hassle and they were really helpful. Beats almost any tech support out there that I have ever talked to. No habibi from India with broken english on the phone.

Anyways...if you need HP help, thats the way to go.

Buy my car! https://www.dfwstangs.net/classifieds...product=124819

some people are like slinkies; they're completely useless, but still bring a smile to your face when you push them down a flight of stairs.

Yeah Fry's is overrun with the darker complected folks. Place stinks like curry and shit. HP has gotten ALOT better in recent years. So has every other brand on the market, and it all contributes back to eMachines reforming in the late-90s. They built the eMonsters and eTower which where bombs... OMG where they bombs. Then one day, they came out with a cut-n-dried system, with an MSi Mobo, no onboard hardware. It had a Ti4600 AGP 8x 128MB, SB Live! 5.1, and an Athlon XP, and they build a whole series on it. It even included the same mother board manual you would get if you bought the mobo off the shelf. When there was an issue with the mobo, eMachines, instead of warrantying it, would offer the option of taking it to a registed eMachines retailer for repair, and cover the bill. When I worked at Best Buy we did it every now and then. Once those started selling like crazy, Sony, Compaq, HP, all followed suite somewhat, with less proprietary bullshit. Still not as good as a home-build but alot better than recent years.

it all depends on who you hit... they all have people who suck ass and people who are good. We had hp server issues a few weeks ago and had to call back 4x before we found someone who knew what raid card was the right one to use.
