F'n Windows XP SP2

I downloaded SP2 for XP so I can play Flight Sim X. What an ass whipping this thing is. Everytime I boot up my computer it tells me there's an update ready to install. Does Microsoft create updates hourly? How many fucking updates do I have to install everyday? Is there a way I can disable this update shit?

considering how long SP2 has been out and the number of updates they have done, I'd say your right on schedule.

You should be able to go into the control panel and shut off automatic updates
