word, I stop raiding as well.... Got to boring kinda felt like another job
Yeah, thats exactly how I felt, and with the lag on our server, doing 40 man content is just asinine. 5 second for instant cast spells you just cant compensate for with skill. I'm also not to impressed with this cross realm battlegrounds, they grouped us with a bunch of 70 / 30 ratio A/H servers and there might be 20 - 40 battle grounds up, but I cant get into any of them because of the ratio of alliance to horde, it can take sometimes 10 - 15 minutes with all 3 queued. ATM, I've been helping out some of the newer guilds with strats for ZG and MC and farming with a 'chinese farmer'. I got him attuned and am trying to pull some strings to get him some night slayer since MC is pug'd finally on my server.
I believe it! If anything they say on the auctioneer forum is true, those folks get 5-10K gold and spend money like crazy on their characters.
The neat part, I'm impatient and will get raped a bit in the AH. So I can negate some rapage by raping others. I'm not looking to be rich, just have enough gold to spend freely without having to cut corners and crap. Nothing sucks worst then trying to level a profession with the stuff you acquire on the server.
I have not gotten any high enough level characters to do raiding. However, it seems like a bitch from what I've read. How do you divy loot and stuff?
Its normally handed out by dkp, or attendance. Each boss you kill you get a set amount of dkp that you bid on items. Obviously people that show up more have more dkp to spend on an item they want than someone who shows up casually. Raids are usually not that bad, but it sucks to see so many unskilled players get loot just because they are able to show up. I always just pick up the scraps such as atk pwr gear and save my dkp for weapons, just depends on your class and how much you can attend.
After reading about it a little, it makes sense. I don't know since I've not tried, but something tells me WSG type PvP will be my bread. I already waste too much time on normal quests/instances/leveling. I'd hate to think about trying to raid for 4-5 hours and not take a break/quit.
