What software do you use and how exactly does it work.

Used to use them for porn back when I first got the internet. Haven't used a newsgroup in ages though. As far as software goes, I always used outlook express.

If you're looking for binaries, my favorite combination is Grabit (shemes.com) and newzbin.com for indexing of posts, so you know where to go for what.

Haven't used it in years, but used to use Forte Agent. They had free and pay versions.

Newsbin is all you need. If you want to be more granular about what you download, try newsrover.

If you just read crap from them, Outlook Express.

Take care,

I highly suggest Newsleecher. It just like Newsbin but not a resource hog. Plus it has super search, which indexs the whole groups.

Well, the website did not offer that information. Even if it did not offer the search feature, it sure does look more organized then Newsbin. If it does (I'm inclined to believe you regardless), it negates the need for any other application to search. I'm going to test out the trial here soon to check it all. Good tip.
