Virus Help

Well i am not sure how, but somehow along the way i picked up some trojans and viruses. I have been getting random programs installed to my desktop, and a lot of pop-ups. I have a Mcafee Firewall, Mcafee Virus scan, and Adaware, but nothing that i seem to do will get rid of these problems. What is something that you have used or something that you use that works good? I am just ready to wipe the hard drive clean and reinstall windows.

Download this one and once installed do a scan. And yes it is free for 30 days.

Panda Titanium Antivirus 2006 + Antispyware New version!

I had the same problem last week and this recovered mine well.

I'd be willing to bet this falls more under the spyware category than a virus. You can also try Spybot Search and Destroy to clean it up. Don't spend more than a few hours trying to clean it, though before you give up, backup your data, and wipe it.
