E-mail Newsletter Program?

I need to send a business newsletter with pictures to about a 100 e-mail addresses. What is the easiest way to do this?

Which web editor, jpeg hosting site, etc do I need?

I can do the text in word 2003, but the pics do not show up. Which website is best to host the pics so they show up in the e-mail?

You really would need to host them on the company's webserver so that the pictures have the same domain as the email address it is coming from. You can use any one of the thousands of free picture hosting sites, but you need to know that this may cause it to get caught my some SPAM filters.

You need to imbed the pics directly into the .doc, versus linking them. They will show up.

When I imbed the pics into the doc using Insert - picture - from file on the local machine - everything looks fine. When I e-mail to a yahoo address or AOL address the pictures get stripped to the bottom of the document.

That's why I was thinking I need to write the brochure up in HTML and then host the pics on some site....

Believe me I would wish I could just e-mail the thing out of word and everything work correctly.

Any more ideas?

if you need to host them somewhere, I've got a LOT of extra space on my site. Let me know.

PDF - I was trying to get around sending the e-mail with an attachment.

HookEM - I could definitely use a spot to host my pics - total space I need is less then 1 mb.

PM the details of your site if you don't mind.

Tom

Ok, I got my e-mail done. If anyone cares, here is how I did it.

Find a place to host your pics that allow direct linking - www.villagephotos.com worked 4 me and it's free.

Get your newsletter into HTML. I used a free editor HTML-Kit worked for me. www.chami.com/html-kit

Send the e-mail throught an e-mail marketing service - I used www.mailchimp.com.

This turned out to be quite a project - but it can be done.

Easiest way would be to create the newsletter in word and save as a pdf and e-mail through outlook as an attachment.

I did it the hard way but I think I will have more options in the long run.

Thanks HookEM for hosting my images. I'm now using villagephotos for my links.
