Trouble deciding on Pirate game.

Trying to decide if I should get "Pirates of the Carribbean", or "Sid Meir's Pirates". I use to play the old version of SMP and loved it. However, I've been reading that POTC is pretty good and someways better.

Has anyone played both games? If yes, which one did you like better and why?

Thanks....

Imma post anyway, I've only played the Sid version (old and new). Frankly, the new is fun but the fun factor wears off quick. Like the old one, you only have so much time before your health craps out....etc...etc. Plus, there is nothing exciting. It was fun for nostalgia, but that's about it. If you find it in the 9.99 - 19.99 rack, get it. Otherwise, try something else.

I haven't played any of them, but I've been thinking about trying something. I get bored easily, though.

Definetly avoid the Sid Pirates...then. If you're sailing against the wind...the game sucks.
