new to limewire, need help.

Ok I finally downloaded limewire. I figured my comp needed alittle music . I used to use Kazaa along time ago and had no problems at all. But I reformated the comp about year ago and didn't sve any songs (opps). Now for my questions is once I download the song where does the song go? I can't find a folder that it is in. The kazaa made a folder and stuck on the songs in there. Am I not looking in the right place or what?

Go to Tools, Options... and it will show you right there where they go. You can even change it.

Use Ares. Limewire sucks. Ares puts the files in its own folder as well. Look in the program files and look for a limewire folder. It should be in there.

You should go to Limewire. I had Ares Gold before it...

right click on the start menu, go to explore, the songs/videos should be in your shared folder.

During the setup of limewire you are able to pick where you want your downloaded files to go.

go to Tools, options, uploads, slots. Make sure everything is set at 0.

Also I went to sharing , in options and once your in there you will see shared folders. Remove all of them. Then at the bottem, make sure that box isn't checked.

This is what I did to stop any sharing.
